With the introduction of embryo transfer into our breeding program in 1999, we have been able to maximise the genetic potential of our mares, and is something that we continue to follow, carefully selecting performance sires to cross with our elite mares. This allows us to compete and breed with our mares at the same time.

So it was a natural progression for Berragoon to offer a large number of exceptionally bred young stock in our, now annual, Production Sale. The horses that we present in our sales over the years, represent our best genetics, from our highly performed mares, and by the best ASH sires available in Australia today.

Whilst our chose sport is polocrosse, we have progeny from our mares competing at the highest level in campdrafting, challenging, showing and also polo.

The 2018 Production Sale will be held on the 13th of January at the Holbrook Equestrian Centre. The catalogue will be available on this page from December 2017.
